What we do
Audio and video transcription
We specialize in law enforcement transcription. For English-only audio, our team of experienced transcriptionists have up-to-date background checks and are well-versed in the various iterations of LEO recordings, be it a recorded interview, prison calls, or an undercover operation. We also have experience in transcribing court hearings, depositions and other non-legal statements and conversations.
Ask us about handling both older (cassettes, mini-recorders, etc) and newer formats (Blu-ray, embedded online videos, phone recordings), as we have experience with a variety of recordings and can work to extract most formats as working files in our transcription software in order to get a transcript.
If your audio is in a language other than English, we have linguists available in the most commonly-requested languages. We offer foreign language transcripts several ways, the most common being a side-by-side format with source language typed in left column and the English translation on the right. This is the format most widely accepted for court and legal purposes, and is recommended by National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators (NAJIT).
We also offer a summary option for high volume recordings in order to determine pertinent sections to transcribe and translate, as well as direct-to-English translations of the foreign language source audio. Please contact us to discuss how we can work to best suit your particular need.
document translation
Birth certificates, school documents, patient instructions, text messages - we translate all kinds of written documents. Contact us for our special certificate pricing by the page. Our translations include a separate certification page for legal purposes if one is needed, at no extra charge.
Sending us a Word version of your document for translation is the easiest and most cost-effective option. But don’t worry, if you have a clear image or PDF of your document, we can work our formatting magic to return a file that looks as close to the original as possible. There may be additional formatting charges added to these types of documents depending on their complexity.
EDITING translations & TRANSCRIPTS
If you have already-translated documents, our linguists can review the translation and perform any necessary edits for certification. This includes personally-translated documents that require certification, or material that's been translated by in-house staff that need a review before public consumption.
Likewise, if you have a transcript completed in-house that needs to be prepared for legal purposes, we can assist in editing and certifying such documents. If you are a court reporter looking for transcript editors, we have a number of well-qualified team members for this purpose as well.
script translation and voice-over
We translate scripts and prepare them for voice-over production, as well as source voice-over talent for deliverables ready for commercial or corporate distribution. These projects often involve multiple production steps, and whether you want us to complete some of the steps - for instance, script and graphics translation and a post-production final review of the video - or handle the entire production from script to final video, we can accommodate your request.
INTERPRETATION
Interpreting the spoken word is offered several ways: traditional on-site appointments (physically present), over the phone, or remotely online with video (VRI). We use qualified and experienced native linguists who are trained to adhere to industry-standard codes of conduct and procedures.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Our success depends on your satisfaction. We are confident you'll be happy with our conscientious approach to each project, no matter the size. We manage every request the same from start to finish, taking care to ensure standard processes throughout for quality assurance.
